The Outer Circle Social club opened early 2019 with the intention to bring a taste of the inner circle warehouse conversion brunch scene to Fairfield. Using the coal that once fired the steam engines on the Outer Circle train line, the menu takes inspiration from American style barbeque creating a destination worth traveling for.
Coffee is provided by NOWHERE TO NOWHERE a blend developed specifically for OCSC. Guest roasters will provide new and exciting variations.

The Outer Circle Social Club has everything you could want to find in a local cafe. Starting with a friendly welcome... that instantly makes you feel at home. The menu is unique, and affordable might I add, was hard to make a choice. I settled on the Ruben and was not disappointed, the brisket melted in my mouth and there wasn’t a crumb left on my plate. This place is so good I've developed Stockholm syndrome and now can't leave. Best coffee in the northern suburbs, and... the staff are too notch human beings. Follow their adventures on Instagram, it's legitimately worth it. Lauren Week was the highlight of my year so far.I wanted to write something funnier but nothing would ever be funny enough for the cafe overlord Justin. 5/7 Perfect score.read more

This cafe is the best! The staff are awesome. After my first visit they remembered what I like to drink so that every... time I go there they know exactly what I like. The coffee is great and I recommend their mushroom omelette....it was amazing.read more

Came here when I was early for an appointment. I'm glad I did - the establishment has made really good use of the space... and they've absolutely found the balance between being a contemporary coffee dive and offering hearty food. It's a little dear, I'm not going to lie, but you get what you pay for and what you pay for is quality.read more

I never thought I'd find a place that did as good a Ruben sandwich as my old dive but I'm glad I did. This is the... perfect place to pop into on a cold day or even on a warm day when you just want to sit outside and relax. Nice big open space. Very friendly staff. The food was average. I had the vegetarian poke bowl, at $20 a pop needed... much more love with predation. Everything in the bowl was stone cold. Seemed like the ingredients were just taken out of the fridge and placed on the bowl. The two slabs of cold tofu could be presented in a more innovative way and the baba ganoush could have at least been stirred through as opposed to being a hard clump. On the positive, the serve was generous. My sister had the wrap and all the ingredients were also cold too. The coldness of the roasted vegetables took away the joy of enjoying the flavours. The coffee was good and all the good options such as almond and oat milk were on offer. As far as the food is concerned investing in an experienced cook who understands how to bring flavours in food would be valuable as lots of potential.read more

Found this place today pottering around on my bike. What a super space they have both indoors and outdoors. Very... relaxed and friendly, the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. We had a pour over coffee that was just superb. The barista suggested we try the espresso and it did not disappoint. Little touches like the sparking water provided with the espresso adds a certain point of difference. These guys are serious about their stuff. Can’t wait to get back and try the food. I don't know where this place came from but I'm glad that it did. They serve the best sandwiches I've had in a while at... the best price I've found from Melbourne streetside cafes. I originally just popped in briefly before a medical appointment up the road but I've been back a few times since then.The staff are nice - they remember my name, the food is excellent, the place is very chill. I'd definitely recommend it for anyone who wants a good feed.read more
